"Trashion Fashion" Event

In order to raise money to build a collection site and raise awareness among Tamarindo residents, the Tamarindo Recycles committee is planning a recycling fashion show event entitled “Trashion Fashion.” The event is being co-organized by local designers Kata Kis, from Papaya con Leche, Petra Beuthner, of Uno Solo, and artists Jaguart.

The fashion show will feature original designs from the artists that are made from recycled material. Some designs will be extravagant and over the top, while others are items that anybody can use or wear.

The Trashion Fashion event will be held at Bar1 on September 11. Music is being done by Fabrice Vanegas. Bar1 will be donating a portion of the bar sales and additionally there will be a raffle and a cover charge benefiting the Tamarindo Recycles committee.

I remember this event. Kata is amazing and has the best designs for swim wear and fashion. We are so lucky to have such a talented person in this town. Kudos to this fashion show and her work. Can't wait to see the next one. From your friends at Tamarindo Sport Fishing
